The Retirement KITAP is valid for 5 years, with options to extend it for a lifetime. It grants benefits like multiple re-entry permits and eligibility for long-term residence. The processing time is about 6-8 weeks.
Important: You can only apply for KITAP indirectly. First, you need a KITAS for several years with the same sponsor and then you can apply for the KITAP.
Requirements
For the Retirement KITAP application we need to be your KITAS sponsor.
- Original passport valid for at least 36 months
- Scan of the ID page of your passport
- KITAS proving 4 consecutive years of residency in Indonesia.
- KITAS with a minimum of 3 months validity
- Bank statement showing at least USD 2,000 or equivalent
- Domicile letter with home address in Bali
- A copy of the lease agreement of the property
- Life or health insurance
- ID card (KTP) of maid/helper
- SKTT (Temporary Residential Registration)
Procedure
- You can directly add the KITAP to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout for payment.
- After checkout, you will be redirected to a form where you can enter all relevant data for the KITAP application and upload the required documents.
- We will check your data and documents and get back to you within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
- If everything is correct and we have received your visa fee payment, we will arrange to pick up your original passport.
- Then we will submit your document and passport to the Immigration office.
- For the conversion from KITAS to KITAP you have to go for a personal visit to the immigration. Once we get the date and time of your appointment at the immigration we will let you know.
- After taking photos and fingerprints, we will wait until the process is done and the new KITAP is issued.
- We will inform you when the process is done and arrange to drop your original passport and KITAP.
The total processing time is about 6-8 weeks.
