Description
What is a Music Performer Visa?
The 30-day Single-Entry Music Performer Visa (C7A) is designed for artists, musicians, and other creative professionals traveling to Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia for professional engagements. This visa is specifically for activities like concerts, festivals, gigs, workshops, and other performing art showcases. The initial visa is valid for 30 days from your arrival date.
Important: The C7A visa is non-extendable. If your performance schedule exceeds 30 days, you’ll need to apply for a new visa.
Attention: This visa is exclusively for foreign nationals who are the performing artist. Accompanying support personnel, such as tour managers, technical crew, or sound engineers, are not eligible for the C7A Visa. They must apply for the separate music performer’s crew visa (C7B Visa).
Requirements
To get a C7A stay permit, you’ll need an Indonesian-based sponsor, usually the usually a reputable Indonesian entertainment company, event organizer, promoter, or impresario. Usually, they’re the ones who handle your application, submitting it for you through Indonesia’s official e-Visa portal. The process is handled entirely online.
The key requirements that the applicant must provide to their Indonesian sponsor include:
Your Documents: Key documents the applicant must provide to their Indonesian sponsor (and to us):
- Passport: A clear, scanned copy of the passport’s biographical data page. The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the planned date of entry into Indonesia.
- Photograph: A recent, passport-style color photograph against a white background.
- Proof of Funds: A personal bank statement from the last three months (including name, date, and final balance) showing a minimum balance account of USD $2,000 or its equivalent to cover expenses while in Indonesia.
- Performer’s cooperation contract with the event organizer, detailing your show dates and professional arrangements.
Sponsor-Provided Documents: Documents the Indonesian sponsor is responsible for providing:
- Guarantee Letter: An official letter from the sponsor guaranteeing the performer’s activities and compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Cooperation Contract: The contract between the performer (or their management) and the event organizer in Indonesia, detailing the nature of the performance.
- Visa Application Letter: A formal request for the visa from the sponsor.
It is important to note that the C7A visa must be used within 90 days from its date of issue.
Additional Requirements:
Foreign nationals without citizenship or holding non-national travel documents
This includes temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificates of identity, laissez-passer, or similar documents. They must provide:
- A valid re-entry permit from the country where the Indonesian visa was applied for.
- A return or onward ticket to another country.
(Exception: This does not apply to transport vehicle crew members.)

Procedure

- Upload your personal documents (passport copy, photo, proof of funds, performer’s contract).
- If you already have an Indonesian sponsor, please also upload their Guarantee Letter, Cooperation Contract, and Visa Application Letter.
- If you need Visa Indonesia to be your sponsor, ensure your performer’s contract and event details are accurately provided in the form, and we will prepare the necessary sponsor documents on your behalf.
- Our Review & Submission:
- We will check your submitted data and documents and respond within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
- Once all is correct and your visa fee payment is confirmed, we will upload your application to the Indonesian immigration system.
- Receive Your e-Visa:
- Your approved e-visa will be sent directly to your email, ready for you to enter Indonesia.
