The Work KITAP for Indonesia is available to those who have held a Work KITAS for 4 consecutive years with your company as a sponsor. It’s for the Board of Directors (BOD) for an Indonesian company on a Working KITAS. The Work KITAP provides benefits such as multiple entry, family sponsorship, and eligibility to apply for Indonesian citizenship after 5 years. This visa suits foreign professionals with company sponsorship who wish to reside in Indonesia for a long time. The Work KITAP is valid for 5 years and is renewable. The processing time is about 6-8 weeks.
Important: You can only apply for KITAP indirectly. First, you need a KITAS for several years with the same sponsor and then you can apply for the KITAP.
Requirements
Your KITAS sponsor needs to be the same for at least 4 consecutive years to apply for your KITAP.
From the Applicant:
- Original passport valid for at least 36 months
- KITAS proving 4years or more of residency in Indonesia
- KITAS with a minimum of 3 months validity
- Passport photo/profile picture
- University degree or relevant experience certificate
- Work location and job title in Indonesia
- SKTT (Temporary Residential Registration)
- Curriculum Vitae (please use this template from Immigration: Download)
- Working Contract
- Labor BPJS and Health BPJS
- Tax card
- Proof of report and tax payment
From the Company (PMA):
- Company deed and amendments
- Approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights
- Company tax registration (NPWP)
- OSS documents (NIB, TDUP/SIUP/Sertifikat Standar, IZIN Lokasi/PKKPR)
- Shareholder ID (KTP) or passport copy
- Login TKA Online & Visa
- Company letterhead, stamp, and online registration (if applicable)
In case you need our help to apply for RPTKA and IMTA we need the following documents:
- The Latest LKPM Report
- Compulsory Company Manpower Report (WLKP)
- The Latest Tax Report and the proof of Annual Tax Payment
- All of the Indonesian staff ID (KTP)
- ID of one Indonesian staff appointed as companion by the company and a recent photograph
- Company bank statement from the last 3 months with minimum balance of USD 10,000
- ID and a recent photo of the Director
Procedure
- You can directly add the KITAP to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout for payment.
- After checkout, you will be redirected to a form where you can enter all relevant data for the KITAP application and upload the required documents.
- We will check your data and documents and get back to you within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
- If everything is correct and we have received your visa fee payment, we will arrange to pick up your original passport.
- Then we will submit your document and passport to the Immigration office.
- For the conversion from KITAS to KITAP you have to go for a personal visit to the immigration. Once we get the date and time of your appointment at the immigration we will let you know.
- After taking photos and fingerprints, we will wait until the process is done and the new KITAP is issued.
- We will inform you when the process is done and arrange to drop your original passport and KITAP.
The total processing time is about 6-8 weeks.
